what are you wearing?

wearing AA shirt. Express leather skirt, various chains, vintage belt, and my lovely ray bays from my lover.

So, I just got back from a lovely little coffee/mall trip with my obsession confession. She happens to be quite stylish and my best friend. Sorry this post is so short. My camera died and I am about to be late for work!

I will post soon on the DIY's and some updates on spring time buy list, and FALL FASHION!!!!

DIY!

In a time where the economy is not getting any better, yet my creativity and patience, seem to be thriving, I decided to compile a list of DIY's. I was inspired by many other blogs who have jumped onto this creative train before me and had great success. I did my first today. I was inspired by an early post picture (i.e. Balmain) and did a bleach/tyedye job on a pair of skinnies today! The process proved to be really easy and was all done during my break from classes today. I will post a picture as soon as possible to show the results! What the results have shown me though, is that DIY's are fun, easy, and much less painful on my wallet!

NEXT UP: I would like to recreate/invent some new pieces accessories.

  • Studded shoes

  • A dip/dye sheath

  • an ornate tulle and jeweled bib necklace

  • a studded black bag

  • a military-inspired jacket

  • a holey-webby sweater

I am currently working on the sweater. It's an interesting process, but I think I have come across a breakthrough in technique and will pick up the needed supplies tomorrow! Also, I am feeling a much needed trek off to do some vintage shopping. I need some new basics to work with! It's such a spirit lifter; and with the lackluster weekend I had, I need it.

Paint it BLACK.

I can't seem to get enough of Christopher Decarnin's grunge/rock/glam. His studded, embroidered, and angular pieces enthrall me. I see no end in sight to this love affair with Balmain.

Balenciaga Spring RTW items I am lusting over!

Spring Inspirations... contd.

I love the texture and the body con look. Body hugging clothes never fail to show how beautiful curves can be. Can't wait for March 1st!

Spring Fashion 2009

Hello! I have neglected posting, as you can see, since August on Fall Fashion; so here we are again at the brink of a new fashion season. Spring! As the economy continues to take a downturn designers are lessening past luxuries and many chose to even not show at Fashion Week. Although, we are in recession, I strongly believe in lifting your spirits with the beautiful new lines for spring. Some of my favorite are Alexander Wang, Stella McCartney, BALMAIN!, DKNY, Alberta Ferretti, and more. Here are some of my favorite spring picks from the rtw shows:
