Hello, lovers

So, I am growing my hair out again.

After my extremely short bob, (I'm all about extremes), I decided it's time again for long locks. However, I hadn't decided for sure... what look/style I would go for once it started getting to the length I wanted. I realized (YES!) much to my amazement, I am approaching my goal length, so I set out searching for hair lengths, colors, and styles that interested me and suited what I had in mind. I came up with a few 'hair muses' that I love.

***Nicole's pregnancies have done wonders for her skin, hair and Style! These pictures of her recently show her to-die hair. I love the longlong bangs and the wavy un-kempt, yet sleek style of it.

***I must say little miss Taylor, has impeccable style AND hair. I love her wavy, messy vibe she has going for her hair. I found her after browsing for personal styles I was interested in and VOILA I found my hair muse! She is most likely what I will shape my hair to look like :)

***oh, Megan FOX. Her hair is oh-so-perfect, and maybe just maybe she is too? I don't know what she does to keep it so beautiful and lush, but i want in on it. I want her hair color, EXACTLY. Well, I want her hair in general, buuuut I will settle for AT LEAST the color. So, lovely, right?

ps. the more I look back at the pictures of Megan I love her hair styles too! what to do what to do??

I was very intrigued by the idea of one of my favorite fashion illustrators collaborating with Classic novels bookcover designs. I discovered this collaboration over coffee and the paper yesterday morning. I did some searching and found these lovely pictures. I am so excited for the fresh, new looks for these classic novels. Pride and Prejudice, is my favorite! I thought I couldn't pass up sharing these with you. The last picture is Toledo's collaboration with Nordstrom. He painted the walls!! I LOVE!

Now, I leave the rest of my day to birthday planning, and outfit scheming!

DIY IDEAS JUL/AUG!

Back again lovers. I have some new ideas for July...August. Need some fun things to keep the rest of my summer occupied besides this BORING summer class I am taking ;)

Thankfully many of you fellow fashion bloggers have not been plagued with summer classes and have been exploring your summer fashion endlessly and have bestowed me with some lovely ideas for DIY's. YES, YES! Here are some pictures of the things I think could be do-able. I am crazy about trying to do the AD sandal/boots! There is NO WAY I could get a real pair, but I would love to try and see what I can come up with! I need to go to my favorite vintage store before work today and see if I can find some victim boots to try it with!!

These all seem very attainable. ITEMS I need: Soft, oversized t-shirt, thick ribbon/material, colored studs, victim boots, laces, chains, ropes, safety pins, fringe, feathers, victim leggings that are heavier-weight material. I think that's about it? hahaha. I am so excited!

So, I'll be honest, lately or over the past month... I have felt completely un-inspired. I have had so much time to worry about all the things going on in my life right now, not so much time to put effort into anything else. I have lately felt tinges of guilt. I have always been so passionate about my personal style, fashion, art, photography..etc. I haven't even been cooking! (which I LOVE to do). Anyhow, I am writing to tell you, I am back. I began to get that "old feeling", hehe. So I will try to get back to basics and start focusing more on what makes me happy and pursure this blog.

Some new changes in my life,

I recently dyed my hair red... well my lovely friend Ashley did, but anyway, it's done. and I love it!

I have also cut it, but only trim, because I waaaant my hair to be long! LONG LONG.

I am newly infatuated with shield sunglasses, wedges of all kinds, denim shirts, oversized t shirts, bralettes,red hair, vegan desserts (they are such a fun challenge), maxi skirts, mini skirts, and foam magazine (i need a subscription now please)
