it's a new year lovelies! A New Decade!

I don't like to make new years resolutions. However, I do like to start the new year with a fresh mind, fresh ideas, and new goals, if you will. As I grow to understand myself more as an adult, I find different things that I am passionate about and want to pursue further in my life. I would like to share a couple goals/wants for the upcoming year.

1. I want to become a runner. Not just a "I run sometimes and hate it" kind of person, but by the end of the year I would like to be settled into a place where I am cofortable running, and feel it as an outlet.
2. I would like to buy a journal for the year, and chronicle anything and everything that drives me. People, experiences, colors, fashion, my family. etc.
3. I want to travel to a city I have never been. AND really experience it. I really hope that city is Seattle. I have always wanted to visit, so hopefully I can make that happen!
4. I would like to compile a list of my favorite vegetarian recipes and create a book for my friends and family. I have so many recipes that I have tried/created and I would like to have them all organized for reference!
5. I want to bake lots of French Pastries/Breads. I really want to make a classic french croissant. I want to make choux. I want to make macarons (hopefully I will tomorrow). I made a classic french fruit tart for xmas dinner!! I want to master some french pastries people!

 Did everyone have a good New Years Eve Celebration? I celebrated with some wonderful people and danced the night away. Followed by spectacular eats the next day courtesy of my mum. Texas Caviar!!!

Nasty picks for the week.

Starting with some NYE worthy dresses. and some beautiful fall coats! LOVE.
I really want to wear a bright color for new years or white. i dont know what it is but I JUST WANT TO.
Last year I wore black and turquoise. The year before that I wore red. I have a pretty little black frock I could wear. Maybe I could fashion a big BOW to add to the back? We shall see. What do you think?

I don't know what it is lately, but i cannot get enough of girly/preppy/fuzzy/frilly/bows!!

Newest room inspirations. I am feeling the string lights, floral bedding, french accents, pops of color, BRIGHT blue, fuzzy rugs, & simpleSimpleElegance. I want to re-decorate my boudoir. Like, right now. I also need to get on re-organizing my dressing room, it's in SHAMBLES. ugh! I cannot seem to keep it decent. I need some new organization ideas. Need to figure out better plan for all my shoes.








Feeling it! Anyone excited about fall baking/cooking? I am crazy about it! I have already begun planning holiday meals, tried out cake pops, cookie pops, made a cheesecake, made a few new fall recipes! (mushrooms in everything i touch : ) )

ALSO as always the early nye planner that I AM. I already have that on the brain and what to WEAR? Where to go? Have you guys thought of any ideas/inspiration on what to wear, exciting outings for this new years eve??

I've been thrifting a ton, and found my white,silk shirt that looks just like the one Dree's wearing in an earlier post that I posted. it's the REALDEAL, i love it and dont want to take it off when i wear it. maybe a little shot of it later, maybe.
